At The Key 2 Growth, we would like to think we are all approachable. We certainly do not try to take ourselves too seriously. A young company with a mixture of youth and experience, employees and quality freelancers, we prefer to focus the seriousness on delivering our partners a quality service.

Below is a selection of information on the team, added to when the individual thinks they should have a mention! 

   
       
 Ben Pont  Director
  Joined the company in 2008 after successful spells being involved in the inception of the Federation of Small Business Insurance scheme for Warren Hill Insurance Brokers (now part of Towergate) followed by senior advertising sales roles in Johnson Press and then running his own business. Is a Brighton season ticket holder, but please do not hold that against him - just remember not to mention Gordon Smith!  Ben has responsibility for the Technical team and also heads up Sales and Marketing. In his free time he enjoys travelling and most sports.
   
 Malcolm Rose  Director
  Co-founder in 2005 and now MD of the company. Malcolm’s background is in IT and Insurance primarily with RSA and he has helped innumerable individuals and companies with his hands on approach to coaching, mentoring, consultancy and Project Management. Malcolm is married with two grown-up sons, both of whom have joined the company in the last couple of years, and lives in Horsham in Sussex. He won’t give his age although apparently the team he supports, a certain North London outfit, won the double in the first year of his life!
   
 John Piechoczek  Director
 

John Piechoczek is the co-founder of The Key 2 Growth Ltd and utilizes his experience of over twenty years working at a senior level in strategy definition, programme & change management, and information technology working in both large and small company environments. 

John has led single site, UK wide and global projects with multidiscipline, internal and external teams. These have included major systems replacement, process improvement, e-transformation and outsourcing.

   
 Jon Riley  General Manager
  Jon refers to himself as a ‘Jack of All Trades’ so is well suited to being the general manager.  An Electronic Engineering graduate he has worked in with hardware, software, commissioning systems and account management in manufacturing and in logistics. Jon is a rare Brit who speaks more than one language, though opportunities to practice Dutch are limited. He runs Horsham Salsa where he both teaches and DJs. He is passionate about American Football having played in the UK and follows the New England Patriots.
   
 Ben Rose  Senior Account Manager
  Who am I? A thinker. I spent the first 22 years of my life dreaming which ultimately cultivated in a bachelor of arts in Philosophy at the University of Warwick. Although I hate to admit it, I also love to analyse, whether it be poker hands or complex sequences on the north face – Climbing all over the world from China to the States is one of my favourite past times. I try to play as much sport as possible and enjoy sociable games. I will see The Key 2 Growth putting out a full 11 before I travel to Brazil in 2013!

What do I like about The Key 2 Growth? As part of an innovative and constantly evolving operation, right at the bleeding edge of the market place, there is clearly a great deal of scope to help not just insurance Brokers grow, but to ensure that businesses across the country are not put in a position whereby their life-cycle comes to an abrupt and pre-mature end. Every individual in this organisation is part of something greater, and this ethos is felt throughout all levels.

When I’m not working or playing Sport I like to relax, play piano, xbox, and chill out with my family and friends – We are just normal people, but with extraordinary ideas.
   
 Steve Ball  IT and Communications Manager
  Based in our Liverpool office, Steve is vastly experienced in all things techie although very much with a human voice and from a strong business process background. From web development to synchronising diaries with our partners for appointments, he is the main man. Lives in Liverpool with his partner Pam and Jessie, their border collie, who occasionally takes Steve for a walk!
   
 Shaun Sole  Account Executive
  Shaun graduated from Central Sussex College with straight distinctions in Media production and communication. During his studies, he picked up several awards for his efforts, including a place in 'Team of the year' and the title of 'Most Promising Journalist'. Accompanying communication knowledge, with 2 years experience in hospitality, Shaun has developed skills that have made him very adaptable to a fast paced working environment. He is also a proud Manchester United fan, which has obviously provoked a natural hunger for success! He very much strives for perfection and this is often translated in his attention to detail and desire to improve.  
   
 Rachael Rogers  Account Executive
  Joined the company in 2011, after having previously worked as a nanny, she likes to bring these skills into the office, as currently being the only full time woman she tries to keep the other boys under control ( not that it works since she is the youngest). Rachael loves socialising and spending all her money on clothes. But she is very independent and a hard keen worker, and is known for taking the crown for the calling queen. She also supports Chelsea... and I think we all know the reason why (that would be they’re good looking – Ed)
   
 Michael King  Account Executive
  With over 6 years of customer focused experience under his belt, Michael is well placed as an Account Manager at The Key 2 Growth. He has strong work ethics, thrives on success and he is an animated member of the company that inspires and motivates his team members. This enthusiasm extends out of the work place to his personal life as he has a love for his Mr Bean like mini – Yes, If it's broke, FIX IT. Michael also enjoys performing on his Saxophone in his spare moments when he is not spending time socialising with friends and family.
 
   
Robert Macdonald   Account Executive

Robert joined The Key 2 Growth in 2010, having previously held various marketing and business development roles in major companies such as General Electric and Toshiba.  A hard working and disciplined individual, Robert's experience and professional manner helps him to drive results and build a good rapport with our clients.


Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, having become a father for the first time in April 2011.  When the former permits, he enjoys socialising with friends and is known for his eloquent and dry wit!

 Oli Barter  Senior Account Manager
 

Oli joined The Key 2 Growth in November 2009, following his graduation from Brunel University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Studies and Sport Sciences. Being a keen sportsman - enjoying Rugby Union in paticular - Oli has a very competitive and tenacious attitude which led him to want to work in a challaging sales enviroment.  

Outside of work Oli has two demanding females in his life - his girlfriend and his dog - both of whom occupy equally large proportions of his time. When he has time for himself, as a self confessed 'country bumpkin' Oli enjoys fly fishing, shooting and riding his motorbike on hot, sunny days (so not very often!) On the more frequent rainy days Oli likes to dabble in a bit of mechanics, in the comfort of a dry heated garage, or pick up his guitar and strum a tune, although he admits that he sings like a drowning cat!
